[ QUESTIONS ]
Choosing between the platforms
Which one to start with, and how they behave together.
Which Mediquity platform should a hospital start with?
A hospital replacing or extending its core system starts with MED-IQ, the hospital information management system. A hospital whose main problem is that clinical documentation is still on paper starts with Doctor-G instead, because it changes nothing about how clinicians work.
Can the platforms be bought separately?
Yes. Each of the six runs independently and is licensed on its own. There is no bundle requirement and no minimum number of modules.
What happens when two or more are deployed together?
They share one patient record. A sample raised in MED-IQ appears in LAB-IQ, a result signed in LAB-IQ returns to the ward, a unit issued in BB-IQ is recorded against the same admission — with no custom integration project between them.
Do the platforms work with software from other vendors?
Yes. All six are built to integrate rather than to replace, using HL7, HL7 FHIR, ASTM and standard APIs. Connect-IQ exists specifically to make equipment from any manufacturer talk to whatever HIMS or LIMS a facility already runs.
Is the software available as cloud or on-premise?
Both are supported, including secure cloud with data residency. Doctor-G additionally uses an offline-first architecture, so bedside documentation continues through a connectivity drop and syncs when the link returns.
