Speaks the machines’ language

HL7, ASTM and proprietary protocols handled in one place instead of per integration.

One connection to your systems

Your HIS, LIS or EMR reads a single, consistent stream.

We interface with the equipment you already own, whoever made it — 5,000+ instruments connected to date.

Eliminate manual entry. Remove the errors that come with it.

A result typed by hand is a result that can be typed wrong. Connect-IQ moves it from the instrument to the record with nobody in between.

[ QUESTIONS ]

Connect-IQ — common questions

What is Connect-IQ?
Connect-IQ is medical device interfacing middleware. Your software sits on one side, your machines on the other, and Connect-IQ is the layer between them — moving patient demographics out to the equipment and results back into the record.
What does vendor-neutral mean here?
It means Connect-IQ interfaces with the equipment a facility already owns, whoever manufactured it. More than 5,000 instruments have been connected to date, across 12+ global equipment brands.
Which equipment does Connect-IQ cover?
Five families: pathology and laboratory analysers, patient monitors, radiology and imaging equipment, cardiac equipment, and infusion pumps.
Which protocols does Connect-IQ speak?
HL7 and ASTM, the two that healthcare equipment actually uses, in both directions.
Does Connect-IQ require replacing our HIMS or LIMS?
No. It is designed to sit behind whatever you already run. It works with MED-IQ and LAB-IQ, and equally with a third-party HIMS or LIMS.
What problem does it actually solve?
Manual re-entry, and the errors that come with it. A result typed from a machine screen into a system is a transcription step that can go wrong; an interfaced result is not.
