[ WHY LAB-IQ ]

Automated, accurate, and connected — end to end.

No manual transcription

Analysers report straight into the system, so results are not re-typed.

Traceable at every stage

Every sample carries its own history from collection to signed report.

Built for volume

Designed for networks running thousands of samples a day across sites.

[ THE JOURNEY ]

A full-stack LIMS from sample intake to automated report delivery.

  1. 1

    Registration

Patient and sample registered, barcoded and assigned in one step.

  2. 2

    Collection

Phlebotomy tracked with time, operator and container recorded.

  3. 3

    Accessioning

Samples received, checked against the order and routed to the right bench.

  4. 4

    Analysis

Analysers interfaced directly, with results captured automatically.

  5. 5

    Validation

Rule-based checks and pathologist sign-off before anything leaves the lab.

  6. 6

    Report delivery

Delivered to the portal, the hospital system or the patient automatically.

Every stage of the lab, in one connected system.

Sample flow, analyser integration, reporting and quality control all sit on one record — so a query about any result can be answered without walking the bench.

LAB-IQ — common questions

What is LAB-IQ?
LAB-IQ is a laboratory information management system for pathology. It covers the whole journey — sample intake, barcoded tracking, analyser interfacing, rule-based validation, reporting and automated delivery — in one connected system.
Which analysers does LAB-IQ connect to?
Interfacing is direct and bi-directional, across more than 5,000 instruments to date. The interfacing layer is Connect-IQ, which is vendor-neutral by design, so LAB-IQ works with the equipment a laboratory already owns rather than requiring particular brands.
Is LAB-IQ suitable for a NABL-accredited laboratory?
Yes. The documentation, quality control and audit trails LAB-IQ produces are built for NABL requirements rather than assembled by hand before an assessment.
How are results delivered to patients and doctors?
Automatically, once a result passes validation and is authorised. Delivery does not wait on someone at a desk collating reports at the end of a shift.
Can LAB-IQ run across several labs and collection centres?
Yes. Networks of laboratories and collection centres run on one platform, so a sample raised at a collection point is trackable end to end and the result returns to the right place.
Does LAB-IQ work with our hospital system?
Yes. It connects to hospital HIMS — including MED-IQ, where a sample raised on the ward and the signed result returning to it are the same record — and to ABDM.
